How to Fix Shockwave Flash Crash Problems in Google Chrome

Google Chrome is the top web browser used and loved by millions of users. Google Chrome is now leading ahead of the Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, and all other web browser. Google Chrome is simple and fast web browser developed by Google.

Google Chrome may be at the top but one serious problem is still associated with it. Although many new upgradations have been done but this problem still persists. We are talking about the Shockwave Flash crash errors which almost every chrome users faced for at least one time.

Why Shockwave Flash Error occurs in Chrome:

Chrome has its internal flash installation which deals with all the flash content of the websites opened in the chrome. Our operating system (Windows) also have a flash installation (mainly Adobe Flash Player) for the flash contents. Sometimes, it happens that chrome gets confused with both of these flash players and attempts to use both of them at the same time. This reulsts in the flash crash which is shown as Shockwave Flash has crashed.

How to Deal with Such Shockwave Flash Errors:

You can follow the below simple steps to deal with Shockwave Flash erros. Once you done with all these steps then you will not receive such error again. Here are the steps,
1.Open a new tab in Chrome and type about:plugins and hit enter.
2.Click  on the ( + ) button at the top right corner labelled as Details.
3.Now you will generally find two Shockwave Flash plugins, one is of Chrome and another is of your system. Now you have to disable the Shockwave Flash of your chrome. You can find which one is of Chrome by viewing the location of the files of the Shockwave Flash. Chrome’s Shockwave Flash will be stored in the …..\Google\Chrome\Application\...... location.

4.Now click on the Disable link just below the file location of Chrome’s Shockwave plugin. This will disable this plugin.

5.Now your by default flash player or Shockwave player is that of your system. For the best result check for the latest Adobe Flash player and install that.
6.Restart your Chrome and you are fixed with the previous problem. That’s it.
