For the internet dummy, here’s what an Internet Cookie is: Whenever you browse a particular site, a “cookie” (or a file referencing that site, gets stored on the hard-disk of your computer. The next time you visit that site, say an online poker site for example, the browser sees that cookie and loads that website faster. You would think that this is a great function and very useful too. However, over a period of time, you surf numerous websites and web pages. The result of this is that literally cartloads of cookies get stored on your computer resulting in a slowdown. Thus it is important to clear out the cookies along with the internet history and the cache.
